Video: Judges Shed Tears, Crowd Goes Wild As Ghetto Kids Stage Another ‘Baddest’ Performance In British Got Talent Competitions

By Frank Kamuntu

Ugandan dancing group ghetto kids are into the Britain Got Talent (BGT) finals after giving an impressive performance last night.

The world-famous dance troupe entered the semi-finals as a fan favourite and did not disappoint.

Ghetto kids gave an African-inspired performance leaving the crowd going wild.

Their performance started with a set from an African village featuring a grass-thatched roof with a little girl sitting at the door, beautiful sunset and clotheslines.

One of the boys kicked off the performance by sounding a horn. The dancing kids wore colourful yellow outfits with African print patterns.

One of the most impressive moves involved two boys holding two sticks between them as a third one danced atop it.

The kids kept switching routines throughout the performance, with the delighted BGT crowd cheering them on.

Golden ticker timers were dropped as they warped up the routine and received a standing ovation from the four judges and the crowd. WATCH VIDEO IN A TWEET BELOW.

The moment of reckoning saw the Ghetto Kids pitted against two other performers, Harry Churchill and Travis George.

Ghetto Kids were voted the winners by the crowd, and they jumped on the stage with jubilation and disbelief.

“We are at the finals. God is great. Thank you, @bgt. This is huge for us, for Uganda and Africa! Thank you, our British fans, for voting,” the group wrote while appreciating their choreographers and family.

Ghetto Kids Get Golden Buzzer

The Ghetto Kids made Judge Bruno Tonioli break the norm by pressing the golden buzzer midway through their performance.

So impressed was the judge that he noted he was looking forward to seeing them again on stage.

The golden buzzer signifies that the performance was top-notch, and the participants get a direct place in the semi-finals.
