Mega Deal: Victoria University Announces Juicy Partnership With England’s UWE University, Business Students To Finalize Their Studies In UK

Victoria University (VU) has inked a 2+1 partnership with the University of the West of England Bristol (UWE Bristol) for its business courses-Swift Daily News has learnt.

The University of the West of England is a public research university, located in and around Bristol, England, UK. With more than 30,000 students and 3,000 staff, it is the largest provider of higher education in the South West of England.

As part of its commitment to providing a transformative educational environment and in line with its internationalization agenda, VU says some of the students especially those offering business courses will be lucky to nail their final year of study at UWE Bristol in the United Kingdom.

”We are excited to announce our 2+1 partnership with the prestigious University of the West of England Bristol (UWE Bristol) for the following VU programs: BSc Banking and Finance, BA(Hons) International Business, BA(Hons) Business and Human Resource Management, BA(Hons) Information Technology,” announced the University.

The University says this partnership allows its students to complete their second year (2.2) at VU before heading to UWE Bristol for their final year of study.

”Upon successful completion of the program, students will earn both a VU and UWE Bristol degree, and they will also be eligible for the current UK two-year post-study work permit,” further announced VU management.

To be eligible to cross to UWE Bristol, Victoria University says a student must have a CGPA of 2.8 and above and meet the English language requirements.

”While the partnership opens doors to an international study experience, each student will be responsible for covering the costs of travel, tuition, and living expenses in Bristol during the final year of study. However, UWE Bristol may offer partnership scholarships to exceptional students,” says VU, Uganda’s leading institution of higher learning.
