Elections: ”Despite Our Political Differences, We Share A Common Interest Of Developing Our Country”- Sam Opeto

By Sam Opeto

Ugandans in Oyam are already in the mood to elect their new Member of Parliament who will replace late Minister Sam Engola whose life was ended by a UPDF guard a few months back.

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, who is also the NRM’s National Chairman, is today among those expected in Oyam to campaign for his candidate Samuel Okello Engola (late Engola’s son). Voting is scheduled for Thursday, 6th of July 2023.

Meanwhile, one of the proud NRM supporters, Mr Sam Opeto says Ugandans need to embrace the fact that there is a new life after elections despite who wins and who loses.

Read Opeto’s Message To Oyam People Below;

”The election season is upon us, and it’s important to remember that our words and actions can have a profound impact on those around us. Let’s refrain from spreading hate or inciting violence and instead promote a culture of civility and respect.

We must recognize that despite our political differences, we share a common interest in the well-being of our communities and our nation.

Following the election, let’s come together with grace and humility, accepting the outcome and working towards a better future for everyone. Let’s reject Intrigue and embrace the power of collaboration and cooperation to achieve collective progress.

As we welcome our fountain of honor today, Let’s show love and overwhelming support to President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni with passion and great zeal by doing that we shall be showing Engola Junior much more support. See you there.”
