Uganda’s mighty Victoria University on Monday, 3rd July 2023, hosted the Uganda Vice Chancellors’ Forum (UVCF) meeting, bringing together Vice Chancellors and Heads of Institutions of all the recognized Universities of Uganda.

In this meeting, Victoria University’s Vice Chancellor, Prof Lawrence Muganga ‘preached’ to his fellow leaders that it’s through collaborating that they can be able to reshape and uplift Uganda’s Higher Education to greater heights.

”It is through collaborative efforts like these that we can drive positive change and foster excellence in our academic institutions. Together, we can empower the next generation of learners and make a lasting impact on Uganda’s educational landscape,” noted Prof Muganga adding;

”I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for attending the meeting and actively participating in the discussions on matters of higher education. Your commitment and dedication to shaping the future of education in Uganda is truly inspiring.”

Talking to Swift Daily News on Wednesday, Prof poured out his joy for hosting this meeting and commended the efforts and contributions of fellow Vice Chancellors to Uganda’s Higher Education.

”It was a great day for me and a special blessing for me to give honor to the giants of Uganda’s Higher Education. Those indomitable educators have contributed a lot to our country’s academic arena and they deserve all the honors and respect,” said a joyous professor Muganga.

Being a great reader and author who believes in Napoléon Bonaparte’s quote, ”Show me a family of readers, and I will show you the people who move the world,” Professor Muganga gifted copies of his new book ”Authentic University” to his colleagues who were spotted smiling ear to ear while perusing through this magical book.

Prof Muganga told this site that the secret behind gifting his guests his book was a form of honoring their impact on this country and ”believes as a scholar who is walking in their footsteps, I have made them proud.”
