It was a jubilant moment for the family of Katongole Noah, a National Unity Platform (NUP) in Mityana District who was found helplessly stranded at Mwera Health Center IV before Deputy RDC Ms Mwanjuzi Prossy came to his rescue.
Ms Prossy has since been nicknamed ”Madam Field”, due to her mode of work that focuses on ground supervision not bragging in office Monday to Monday like most of the government workers.
In her Wednesday monitoring and supervision of activities at Mwera Health Centre IV, the D/RDC found Mr. Katongole in deep pain over an identified illness. Like any other caring mother, she was quick to quiz the hospital administration about the patient’s fate only to be told that they were still waiting for the ambulance to come and take him to Mityana Hospital where he was referred.
However, Ms. Mwanjuzi was briefed by her source at the hospital that actually the Health Centre ambulance they were waiting for had taken another patient to Mubende Hospital and therefore was to take long to return. This prompted the big-hearted and merciful muzzukulu to immediately surrender her car to rush the patient to Mityana.
”Yes, it was a good day for me that at least I saved the life of this man. In humanity, the real ubuntu we are always taught is when you help or give service without basing on the political affiliation of a person you are helping but also our most loving Jaaja, HE Yoweri Kaguta Museveni who am loyal to, teaches us every day that it’s our good acts that will turn our opponents to support NRM, am sure this NUP councilor is now praising NRM in his heart and without any iota of doubt, in 2026 he will secretly vote for Museveni. And as you know, am working hard for my President to get 100% support in Mityana come the 2026 elections. So am scoring well,” Ms Mwanjuzi told this site Wednesday evening.
The generous act of Mwanjuzi has since left dozens of residents in Mityana speaking in tongues others praising and worshiping her merciful heart. Among them include staff of Mityana and Mwera hospitals and also Katongole’s wife who noted that the D/RDC didn’t only save her husbands’s life but also bought the necessary requirements for the patient which they will be using in the hospital.
”She has not only offered us free transport using her personal vehicle but also bought for us soap, sugar, juice, lunch, towel, bed sheets and basin, can you imagine such a heart!” wondered Katongole’s wife before she added,”surely I have no enough words for this Museveni’s servant. I pray God blesses President Museveni for appointing her.”
Lumu Fred a resident of Nakaseta Village, in Namwene Parish, Kikandwa Subcounty who was found in Mityana Hospital taking care of his sick dad praised Ms. Mwanjuzi for being a true leader who has inspired people to join the mighty NRM party.
On his part, Manoor Katumba praised D/RDC for being a field person; ”The fact is, these good acts of some people like Mwanjuzi have started changing our minds as NUP people in Mityana. We had quit NRM over poor services but ever since Mwanjuzi stepped in this district, trust me there is a mega change and people have started realizing NRM’s goodness.”
For Nakibuule Robina, Mwanjuzi is not only a D/RDC but also a patriotic muzzukulu who has no space for nonsense when it comes to fighting for widows and women’s rights. She noted,” Our beloved D/RDC recently arrested our Chairman in Kalangalo who has been chief land grabber from helpless widows.”
Meanwhile, in seeking a comment from one of the hospital staff, we landed on a one Balikudembe In Charge of the Causality Department of Mityana Hospital who commended D/RDC Mwanjuzi for being “a tireless leader and a merciful mother”.
”You know when you are a hardworking person, you must annoy some bad-hearted people, so am sure some won’t appreciate Mwanjuzi’s efforts because even here at the hospital some lazy staffs don’t appreciate her. She is very tough at them, Mwanjuzi wants effective service delivery and that’s why you have seen patients out there praising her so much and am sure NRM carders in this district are also happy for the support she is generating for their party,” noted Mr Balikudembe.
