Bunga Bet has made a great expansion to Southern Africa after earlier this week opening two mega offices in Mozambique and Malawi, Swift Daily News reports exclusively.
The launch of these offices was celebrated in Uganda at Uganda Wildlife Conservation Education Centre – Entebbe Zoo, an event that attracted several Bunga Bet local and international ambassadors.
Among the ambassadors were Uganda’s finest artists Mayanja Ibrahim aka Starboss Big Eye and Mugwanya Michael aka King Micheal.
Bunga Bet CEO Mr Prosper Tuhaise Kururagire, a staunch supporter and leader of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) in the Mbarara district revealed that each of the new offices will employ over 39 Ugandan staff with the aim of trimming the burden of unemployment that has burdened the Pearl for years.
”The main reason why we established this betting company was not to just make money but also to impact our society and offer solutions to some of the challenges affecting our people. So we are now going to offer jobs to over 39 staff in each of the new offices,” said Mr Tuhaise whose support to President Yoweri Museveni is unequaled.
Our source recently intimated to us that Tuhaise, a humble but heavily loaded tycoon has also been able to source a couple of opportunities for thousands of Ugandans using his tight and resourceful connections in South Africa.
Bunga Bet opened its doors for business in 2017 and is the first indigenous betting company in a flooded industry dominated by foreign companies but of course, being a tactical entrepreneur, Tuhaise has been able to keep afloat.
At the moment, Bunga Bet employs over 500 people with over 50 outlets throughout the country.
On top of the common betting on football matches, Bunga Bet also offers a platform for online betting, virtual betting as well as slot machines.
Pro People Betting Company
Through Bunga Bet, tycoon Tuhaise has given back to society in various ways in the last couple of years. He partnered with UWEC to save the crested crane habitat as a way of boosting tourism. Later, the company offered relief items worth millions of shillings to Kawaala-based St Ritah orphanage to mark World Children’s Day among other charities all in total worth billions.
Some time back, he also donated medical equipment worth Shs 50m to Nshwere health centre in Kiruhura to support the area’s healthcare…I mean the charities are countless.
