On Friday, the Office of the National NRM Chairman held mega celebrations at Kololo Independence Grounds in honor of the historical Katonga battle heroes and also celebrated the life of the priceless father of the nation HE Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
The event was organized by all bazzukulu under the ONC headed by Hajjat Hadijah Uzeiye Namyalo aka Chief Muzzukulu.
Everyone was invited in respective of their political affiliation. Along the process, some bad hearted people tried to fail the event, those with excessive powers even wanted the function to be called off with fake submissions to the President…in politics such people are called ‘Political Idiots’.
It was really embarrassing, and it sent a bad signal to H.E who was actually shocked to find out that the NRM secretariat which was fully invited failed to turn up on an event organized by His personal office.
For so long, it has been said that the NRM head office does not support the activities of Chairman’s Office which does all Museveni activities with or without money and in fact, this is what annoys the head office which works only when there is big budget.

Many people had lost hope in the NRM leadership, in fact the party for some time had never held a mega rally in Kampala unless it’s a campaign rally but still could make sure that all the great musicians are invited but on Friday, ONC set a new dimension that people still believe in the party and the president.
Many wondered by NRM secretariat boycotted this event but all in all, ONC emerged the winner because Kololo was full and all sub-regions were represented from the North to the South, the West to the East and they attended with passion and no one was left complaining unlike the previous NRM activities.
Hajjat Hadijah appreciated HE for not being misguided with the fake accusations about her and the event and attended it physically. She also informed HE that many people are just opportunists who only fight whatever is good just because they are not individually gaining anything.
She presented to him the real children of the fallen Katonga heroes, whom they had sidelined and replaced with children of mafias. Even some living Katonga heroes who were declared dead were also found alive and Hajjat presented them to Museveni.

As she was concluding her powerful speech, she informed HE that with the good leadership and love towards Africa and Uganda, Bazzukulu were not ready to lose him and on behalf of the hundreds who attended the celebrations, she requested HE to accept and appear on the ballot come 2026 and beyond.
The president was very grateful and thanked Hajjat Hadijah with the co-organizers for such a historical event. She applauded ONC for always doing the right things, he promised to always support and guide the Bazzukulu because he is still here for them.
He promised to follow up all the matters concerning the welfare of the NRA heroes.
