Bobi Wine and Museveni compressed

OP-ED: Bobi Wine, Throwing Insults & Abuses To Museveni Won’t Stop Him From Leading You For More Decades

By Akampa Tanbull

Well, I have been following, Mr Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine’s country wide tours with some of his party members but I think he is getting more frustrated each and every day because of Uganda Police not stopping his rallies neither disrupting them even when his group or gangs have even tried to provoke the Police and other security agencies.

Our security personnels, Police, UPDF officers have kept civil and left him and his gangs disrupt traffic flow and even at time assault, abuse some innocent citizens in all the towns/districts they have visited.

As if this is not enough, Mr Bobi has continued to give speeches that promote tribalism, secretarianism, hate and inciting violence in citizens.

For example, in Mayuge district, he claims that Government of NRM has killed people yet the cardinal role of a democratically elected Government is to protect lives and property of it’s Citizens, a reason why NRM Government has been voted into leadership every after five years.

Last Friday while in Luwero, Mr Bobi abused the persona of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tibuhaburwa, alleged that he is a killer, same as his son Gen Muhoozi Keinerugaba and that they are planning to kill him too in disguise of bomb threats!

This shows how shallow Mr Bobi Wine is, how does one politicize terrorism yet it affects many lives. God for bid, if a bomb exploded at Bobi’s rally, would he blame the Government of Uganda? Or as Ugandans we would blame Bobi for not taking security advise and act accordingly since the security agencies have the mandate to protect lives of all Ugandans?

Bobi Wine could be planning to harm lives of many Ugandans including himself so as to continue tarnishing the image of National Resistance Movement (NRM) Government and that of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tibuhaburwa.

Bobi is taking President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tibuhaburwa’s tolerancy for granted and continuously provoking security agencies so that he is arrested to hype his political capital/relevancy.

He is taking advantage of the ignorant fans who do not understand or appreciate the historical background of our Country Uganda, the peace that was ushered in by the blood of those Patriotic Ugandans who died in the battles of Katonga, Kabamba, Luwero among other areas.

It is now crystal clear that people like Bobi Wine are being used by foreign forces to destabilize Uganda.

Ugandans must Shan politics of hate, tribalism, secretarianism, but focus on rather how to unite towards building a better Uganda.

Mr Bobi Wine has no any sense of a clear direction that Uganda should take, he is running a bubble campaign of hate speech across the Country, this will not take him any where, the more he continues to expose him self, the more Ugandans will get to know him and eventually isolate him especially now that Majority of people both the young and adults in up Country Districts look at him as the performing artist/musician, it’s a matter of time.

Ugandans must concentrate of improving house hold incomes by tapping into some of the current Government programmes and prevailing peaceful environment.

A better Uganda is still possible even under President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.

For God & my Country Uganda.
