The Manager Office of the National Chairman (ONC) dubbed the Special Presidential Advisor on Political Affairs, Hajjat Hadijah Uzeiye Namyalo has today [Friday] held a meeting with the Kampala Metropolitan pressure group coordinators to thank them for their efforts that saw a successful Katonga Spirits event held at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds last week.
The meeting was held at the ONC head offices in Kyambogo and attended by hundreds of coordinators from several parts of Kampala.
It’s worth remembering that on the 8th of this month, the Bazzukulu spearheaded by Hajjat Namyalo commemorated the Katonga heroes and celebrated the achievements of HE Yoweri Kaguta as he clocked 79 years of age. Museveni celebrates his birthday every 15th of September. He was born on September 15th 1994.
The Bazzukulu, friends and supporters of ‘Jajja Museveni’ under their different informal groups filled Kololo Ceremonial Grounds to capacity which left the opposition and Museveni haters in great shock and others speaking in tongues that, ”Kitufu Jajja Amalako’.
Back to Friday’s meeting at ONC, the proud Chief Muzzukulu told the coordinators that the office of the National Chairman doesn’t use people like some politicians. She said ONC appreciates all those who work tirelessly to see Museveni retain the presidential seat.
“At ONC we don’t use people. Today I have summoned you here to say thank you for the great mobilization you did and just know our president is appreciative,” said Namyalo before adding, ”NRM supporters have always complained about being used and dumped by the party officials, at ONC we shall never take that curse.”
The informal group leaders from markets, taxi operators, boda boda riders among others totaling over 200 were excited to witness a new chapter of salvation within the Office of the National Chairman.
Mr Katamba a senior carder in the NRM and long-time foot soldier said, “Recognition and appreciation make us feel valued as members of the NRM and now that ONC has mastered this, we can’t wait to work with you to make sure our President retains his seat in 2026.”
The joyful mobilizers of the NRM asked Hajjat Namyalo to always consider them in all activities of the National Chairman’s Office and they will always be available to extend all the necessary support.
Hajjat Namyalo requested the mobilizers to always ensure that they participate in all the ONC activities within their localities and be inclusive among those benefiting from the various sustainable wealth creation projects being implemented by the ONC.
She further promised to inform the President who is also the supreme leader of the NRM to have a meeting with them to discuss various mechanisms on how they can intensify his support in Kampala Metropolitan.
Shockingly, some of the NRM bosses were working like horses to fail the Kololo event by misinforming the public that the President was not going to attend the event and was not aware of it.
However, all their efforts came in vain. The event was held successfully and attended by thousands of bazzukulu.
Delivering his address at this event, the President appreciated the ONC team headed by Hajjat Namyalo for organizing the event and noted, “I asked Hadijah to include the Katonga item.”
He added that in September, he remembers two battles, of which the successful one was in 1985 when they defeated the Tito Okello Lutwa forces. He explained that there were other significant battles that happened in the liberation struggle of the NRA/NRM 1981-85, but Katonga was among the tough ones.
The President thanked Hajjat Namyalo for mobilizing the Katonga living fighters and promised to have a meeting with them to find out why their issues have not been addressed by the Veterans Association headed by Hajji Ssedunga to the extent of regretting their sacrifice.
A source on condition of anonmity revealed to our reporter that many of those veterans were declared dead before the President by those managing their affairs, and their [veterans’] appearance at Kololo left many of those greedy mafias in panic.
