Lyantonde: At the fundraising event that was held at Lyakajura Church with the aim of raising over Ugx176 million for the roofing of the church, the youths were urged to support the work of God.

Seith Muyambi, Kabula County’s hopeful next legislator who was a special guest at the function said that it’s now time for the youths to come up and support their parents in the works of spreading the gospel of the Lord.

At this event, Muyambi hailed the late Lt Pecos Kutesa who commenced the construction of the Lyakajura Church of Uganda.

”Once you serve the Lord he can never fail to work for you, therefore work tirelessly, the Lord is ready to reward you,” said Seith.

He later contributed Ugx10 million shillings towards the cause and asked others to add on so that the church is completed.

The fundraising ended with over Ugx17m collected.

This is not the first time Seth has come up with support to his people, few months ago he cashed out Ugx10 million shillings for the construction of Bishop House in Kako-Masaka, Ugx7 million shillings to Kashagama Church of Uganda, Ugx10 million shillings to Kabula FC, one hundred bags of cement for the construction of Kyewanura Primary School among many other contributions.

Reverend at Lyakajura CoU, John Turyamureeba Salongo gave an update on the construction of this church saying the work is moving smoothly.

”We need over Ugx176m to accomplish this good work you all see here, i therefore call upon everyone who has a heart of giving to come and support us because we need a lot of money that cannot be got in a single day,” said Reverend John.
