RCCG stands as one of the fastest-growing Pentecostal churches globally, with a presence in over 190 countries. At its helm is Pastor E.A. Adeboye, a distinguished former Mathematics lecturer with a Ph.D., serving as the Global General Overseer from the Headquarters at Redemption City of God, Nigeria.

Pastor Monye’s journey with RCCG Uganda spans an impressive 28 years, where she and her late husband, Pastor Israel Monye, served as pioneer missionaries.

Despite the passing of her husband, Pastor Monye’s dedication to the mission remained unwavering, embodying the essence of a missionary par excellence and her steadfast commitment to advancing the work of God has left an indelible mark on the landscape of Ugandan Christianity

During her tenure, Pastor Monye has not only nurtured spiritual growth but has also played a pivotal role in training and mentoring numerous Ugandan pastors.

Her influence reverberates across the nation, with RCCG parishes flourishing under her guidance where she spearheaded the establishment of RCCG parishes in Sorroti, Manafwa, and Mbale in Eastern Uganda, and was instrumental in founding the Kabale parish in Western Uganda.

RCCG Uganda’s footprint extends far and wide, boasting 32 parishes across Central, Eastern, Western, and Northern regions. Organized into five zones—Namuwongo, Kanyanya, Kololo, Kabale, and Ntinda—the church’s reach is extensive, with each zone overseeing seven churches. Remarkably, over 80% of RCCG Uganda’s parishes are led by indigenous Ugandan pastors, a testament to Pastor Monye’s commitment to local empowerment and leadership development.

Under Pastor Monye’s stewardship, RCCG Uganda has not only grown numerically but has also deepened its impact within communities across the nation. The church’s presence serves as a beacon of hope, offering spiritual guidance, humanitarian assistance, and community development initiatives.

As Pastor Monye assumes her new role as the National Leader of RCCG Uganda, the church anticipates a continuation of its transformative journey. Her leadership embodies resilience, compassion, and unwavering faith—a beacon of inspiration to believers and non-believers alike.

In this era of dynamic change and evolving challenges, RCCG Uganda stands poised to navigate the path ahead under the capable leadership of Pastor Mrs. Monye Olubunmi Olushola. As she takes the helm, the church looks forward to scaling new heights, deepening its impact, and spreading the message of redemption and hope across the nation.

In Uganda, and beyond, RCCG remains steadfast in its commitment to proclaiming the gospel, transforming lives, and building a legacy of faith that transcends borders and generations.
