”He’s A Patriotic Leader Who Has Driven Uganda From Grass To Grace, Reward Him Another Term”-Mbarara’s Tycoon Tuhaise Rallies Ugandans To Bring Museveni Back On Ballot In 2026

By Frank Kamuntu

Staunch NRM supporter, businessman and proud muzzukulu Kururagire Prosper Tuhaise has rallied over 45 million Ugandans to reward HE.Yoweri Kaguta Museveni with another term come the 2026 elections, saying this is the only way the ‘old man with the hat’ can be appreciated for what he has done for Ugandans.

Prosper who doubles as NRM Chairperson Bukiro Town Council & Bukiro Subcounty in Mbarara District made the appeal yesterday at Kasanda Primary School where he donated 46 iron sheets worth Ugx1,400,000 to boost the standard of the school hence improving on education sector in the district.

The heavily loaded who is also the director Bungabet Africa with presence in 8 countries also donated Ugx800,000 and choir uniforms to Rugarama Full Gospel church, saying it’s crucial for leaders to support religious centers saying these have a huge impact on the transformation of societies.

He however tasked parents to keep their children in school, saying education is the masterpiece of every country’s growth economically and socially.

”By embracing education, we embark on a journey of personal growth, expanded horizons, and lifelong learning. Let us recognize the value of education, invest in it, and work collectively to make quality education accessible to all. Together, we can shape a brighter future through the power of educating our children,” Prosper told parents.

Back To Museveni & Why He Should Be Rewarded Another Term

Prosper noted that ever since the NRM government came to power in 1986, a lot has been achieved and this explains why the wanainchi have for decades been voting for Museveni because he is the only tested and proven leader.

”My fellow Ugandans, it was not a coincidence or anything else that NAM and G77 members unanimously embraced Museveni as their leader for the next three years, there is a reason behind it and that reason is that they examined him, when they came here they witnessed how he has driven Uganda steadily, they saw how fast the country is prospering, so if the foreigners can appreciate why should we let our mzee retire, it’s a loss,” said Prosper before he added;

”Your Prosper here assures you the man still has a lot, he is not yet old, no it’s just grey hair may be, let’s all accept that he has done a lot and no way we can thank him other than rewarding him another term, let’s all massively vote him in 2026 and keep him in that state house until he achieves all the good plans he has for us his bazzukulu.”

Prosper further noted that during his international travels, he meets a lot of Ugandans and foreigners praising Museveni’s leadership, which explains the force behind the magnitudes of investors flocking to Uganda day and night to tap into the country’s opportunities.

”When am on planes travelling to various parts of the world for my businesses, I normally meet people admiring us, saying for us, we are lucky we have such a patriotic president who fought and has maintained peace and stability of our country, see what is happening in our neighbouring countries, and compare the peace you sleep and walk with year in-year out without any war, isn’t that enough to bring Museveni back on the ballot in 2026, in fact we shall even go on streets and protest if he doesn’t come back, he must drive us pakalast…” Tuhaise emphasized.

It’s worth noting that these come days after Museveni was awarded the Social and Economic Commitment Award by the European Corporate Council on Africa and the Middle East (ECAM) in recognition of his outstanding humanitarian efforts.

The award was presented to President Museveni by Prime Minister Rt. Hon. Robinah Nabbanja at State House Entebbe. Last week, Rt. Hon. Nabbanja accepted the award on behalf of the President during the ECAM summit held in Rome, Italy.
