It was a pompous moment as manager of Office of the National Chairman (ONC) Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo landed at her mother’s shukur with her dear husband Mr Musa Ssentamu, at an event held in Ndejje, Entebbe.
The above is obviously bad news for Namyalo’s enemies, who for the last couple of days have been trading naked rumours that the two love birds are no longer together.
At this event, Namyalo’s mother Hajjat Sophie Nanono thanked HE Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for building for her a swanky house, a pledge she said had taken long but Alhamdulillah finally has been fulfilled.
“I don’t know how I can thank Museveni, he told me he would build me a good house, but he later got busy not until Hajjat Hadijah started following it up and I thank Allah that it has finally been fulfilled. All the youths here I want to tell you that I started supporting Museveni before many of you were born to date he is my favorite leader, so if we the old are still stuck on him what about you he has educated and did all the wonderful things!” said Hajjat Sophie calling for endless support of President Museveni.
Among the guests that honored this event included Bukomansimbi’s youthful tycoon Mukiibi Hassan Sserunjogi who commended Hajjjat Namyalo for being a loyal servant to her boss the NRM chairman but also being a humble and down-to-earth leader of all the bazzukulu.
”My fellow Ugandans especially the youth I request you to back up Namyalo, she needs our support to effectively perfect Museveni’s assignments,” said Mukiibi who revealed that the reason why Namyalo attracts a barrage of enemies is because of the great achievements she has scooped in the little time she has been in office.
The tycoon also thanked Namyalo for loving her parents and showered Hajjat Sophie Ugx5m cash for raising well Hajjat Namyalo. He also gave Ugx2m to the relatives of Namyalo. On top of this, another tycoon from Iganga Mr Badogi Ismail Waguma cashed out Ugx3m to be shared by Namyalo’s relatives.
On her part, Hajjat Namyalo thanked her mother for standing with her in all good and bad moments urging children to always support their parents citing Quran’s Surah: 17, Verse: 23 which states;
“Your Lord (Allah) has commanded that you worship none but Him, and that you be good to your parents. If either of them or both of them reach old age with you, do not say to them a word of disrespect, nor scold them, but say to them kind words)”
Further, Hajjat Namyalo thanked God for the life of her son [names with held], an activity called Aqiqah (Akika). This is performed as part of the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and is a virtuous act in Islam.
Akiika involves the sacrifice of livestock, such as goats and sheep. It usually takes place on the seventh day after a baby’s birth.
