East Africa’s Musician Diamond Platnumz is nursing a broken heart after parting ways with his lover, Zuchu.
The pair were seen walking hand in hand in a viral video.
The Sukari crooner noted that she has been ending her relationship, making it look like a regular thing, and prayed that this is the last time.
She insinuated that Diamond did not respect her and maintained that they would only work together.
“I had to post this to clear my conscious. From today, Naseeb and I are not together. I know this has been our thing but as hard as it is leaving someone you truly love, I am praying to God that this will be the last time and that I start a new life. Love is respect and by bad luck that has missed for us.”
She posted a video about being taken for granted and said she wished Diamond and his family all the best.
Diamond has confirmed their split and expressed how heartbroken he is.
He alluded to the fact that Zuchu had dumped him, asking netizens to pity him even as he was now single.
He asked for strength and comfort from fans, saying he is finding it difficult to get through his heartache.
He wrote: “Basi bwana wadau, ndio kama mlivyosikia matikiti yamenidondokea….Hivyo nahitaji sana huruma na ukaribu wenu kipindi hiki cha ujane wangu, ili walau kupata nguvu na faraja kwenye kipindi hiki kigumu.”
However, the Mapoz hitmaker did not disclose what had led to the break-up.
Meanwhile, after Diamond and Zari’s video went viral, her husband, Shakib Lutaaya, posted cryptic messages that had netizens questioning whether they had parted ways.
A section of netizens claimed that Shakib appeared to be throwing jibes at his wife.
The two deleted each other’s photos from their social handles.
The 43-year-old Ugandan businesswoman deleted the majority of Shakib’s photos, including the one she shared of him and her last born son celebrating their joint birthday.
