Unbelievable: Meet The Man Who Feeds On Animal And Has Not Bathed In 67 Years

By Frank Kamuntu

Meet Amou Haji, an 94-year-old man from Iran’s Dejgah village. He’s gained quite a bit of attention for a rather unusual reason, he hasn’t bathed in a whopping 67 years! Just imagine it: not taking a shower for a whole week seems unthinkable to many of us, let alone abstaining from bathing for over six decades.

Amou Haji’s appearance is as striking as his lifestyle. With his unkempt hair, wild beard, and weather-beaten skin, he looks like he’s stepped out of ancient times, reminiscent of characters from biblical tales.

Despite his rugged appearance, something is fascinating about his commitment to living life on his terms.

What’s his reason for shunning baths for so long, you might wonder? Well, Amou Haji firmly believes that bathing will make him sick, and he’s developed a deep-seated fear of water. Whether it’s a genuine health concern or a personal quirk, it’s led him down a path that most of us find difficult to comprehend.

But it’s not just his bathing habits that set him apart Amou Haji’s daily routine is equally unconventional. He sustains himself by eating rotten meat scavenged from animal carcasses, living more like a nomad than a settled villager.

To add to the peculiarity, he’s been known to smoke animal feces from a rusty pipe, a habit that raises eyebrows even among the most adventurous.

Perhaps it’s no surprise that Amou Haji has chosen to live a solitary existence, distancing himself from the society he once belonged to. Reports suggest that he endured a challenging upbringing, which may have contributed to his desire for solitude and his eccentric way of life.

As for his living conditions, they’re far from luxurious. Amou Haji resides in rundown places, often making do with whatever shelter he can find.

And when it comes to personal grooming, he takes a rather unconventional approach he trims his hair by setting it on fire, a method that’s as daring as it is unusual.

Despite his aversion to bathing, Amou Haji surprisingly consumes a significant amount of water each day reportedly around 5 liters. It’s a curious contradiction in a life filled with contradictions, adding yet another layer to the enigma that is Amou Haji. however, Amou Haji died at 94 year.

In the eyes of many, Amou Haji has earned himself the title of the world’s dirtiest man. But behind the layers of dirt and grime lies a story that’s as fascinating as it is perplexing.
