“Stop Forcing Your Candidates On Us, Front Them To Battle Museveni In 2026”-ONC’s Namyalo Tells Off Pressure Groups

By Frank Kamuntu

The manager of the Office of the National Chairman (ONC), Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo has blasted leaders of political pressure groups accusing them of forcing their candidates on Ugandans something she trashed noting that Uganda is not a monarchy but a democratic state.

Namyalo noted that even when Ugandans are busy working to revive their families from poverty, some pressure groups are working hard to divert them with their fruitless politics.

“This is the right time Ugandans would be concentrating to work and kick poverty out of their families, instead some selfish politicians are diverting them by trying to force their candidates on people, stop bothering our bazzukulu, leave them to work,” noted Namyalo.

She said when the right time comes, Ugandans will decide on the right candidate.

“The fact is HE Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is already warming up to bounce back on the ballot, so whoever thinks is so powerful, should wait until 2026 instead of confusing our people,” Namyalo said.

Further, Namyalo urged Ugandans to jump out of the diversion being created by selfish political groups and go to check their details in the NRM register.

“The other day HE launched the update of the NRM register. Therefore, I request all Ugandans to go to your nearby parishes and check your details and confirm whether you are a full NRM member so that in 2026 we can bring back HE Museveni in State House.

In her message to women ahead of Women’s Day celebrations held annually on March 8, Namyalo urged them to work hard and get their families out of poverty.

“Let’s all stop thinking that it’s men to work for these families, women are capable enough. So let’s use money from the government empowerment programs to start up businesses and boost the well-being of our people,” noted Namyalo.

She said her office has already dispatched vehicles full of empowerment tools to Katakwi district where this year’s event is going to be held.

“In our ongoing empowerment initiative, my team has already landed in Katakwi where we are going to empower thousands of bazzukulu with tools that can help them kick poverty out of their families,” Namyalo emphasized.
