Uganda’s Leading Car Dealer YUASA Hosts Iftar Dinner For Muslims At Sheraton

By Frank Kamuntu

Uganda’s leading car dealer YUASA on Friday hosted an Iftar dinner for dozens of Muslims at Sheraton Hotel, Kampala.

Iftar is a meal taken by muslims at sundown to break the daily fast during Ramadan and once you offer this meal to someone who is fasting, you increase your iman and multiply your reward in the blessed month, and this best reveals why YUASA took it so crucial.

Among the key dignitaries at this dinner was Minister of Transport and Works, Gen Katumba Wamala who emphasized the need for all Ugandans to follow road rules and traffic regulations citing that over 4000 people succumb to accidents annually.

In his remarks, Chief Executive Office YUASA, Mr Hasham Wahaib commended Ugandans for the love and support they have accorded them ever since they entered into Ugandan market.

He said it’s that support that pushes them every day to give back to various Ugandan communities through charity and other forms of support.

“My first time to come to Uganda was in the 1990s, and since then I have never regretted being in this country. Ugandans are very supportive people and very loyal, we deeply thank you for being a YUASA family,” noted Mr Wahaib adding;

“For Iftar, we all know that it’s through giving back to Allah’s people that we boost our iman, therefore we found it crucial as YUASA to tap into the blessings of ramadan and this clearly explains why we invited you here to share a moment together enjoying this dinner.”

He revealed that the company continues to import world-class and swankiest rides that can be secured at the most favourable rates.

“We don’t focus much on profits, our target is to see that we serve to satisfy our good clients. Pass by our bond in Nakawa and cruise your dream car at a very friendly cost,” Mr Wahaib added.

YUASA buys and sells a wide range of high-quality used motor vehicles that are environmentally and financially friendly through a couple of unique principles stated below;
