From Chalk To CHATBOTS: Prof Muganga Unveils 1st Ever Artificial Intelligence Book In East Africa

It’s another good news for academicians and education stakeholders after famous pundit Prof Lawrence Muganga unveiled a very insightful book on the impact of Artificial Intelligence on the region’s education.

Muganga who has made Victoria University a household name in just a few years he has been a Vice Chancellor, believes that in this 21st century learners must be equipped with the education of today, not of ancient and this can only be implemented if institutions of learning adopt Artificial Intelligence.

Therefore, in his book titled; “From Chalk to CHATBOTS: Discovering Authentic Education with AI,” Muganga says it “rediscovers authentic education with Al” which he says is a trusty GPS for everyone trying to navigate the crossroads where education meets Al.

Sharing the news about this mighty book, Muganga posted on his x handle that after being unveiled at the Uganda Vice Chancellors Forum Workshop in Entebbe and embraced by all his fellow educationists, it [book] will soon be launched and will be available for purchase online through various eBook outlets, and in different bookshops in Kampala.

“I am overjoyed to announce the release of my groundbreaking AI book, “From Chalk to CHATBOTS: Discovering Authentic Education with AI.” A heartfelt thank you to Prof. George Openjuru Ladaah, Vice Chancellor of @GuluVarsity for officially unveiling it at the Uganda Vice Chancellors Forum Workshop in Entebbe on April 5th, 2024.
