It’s another good news for academicians and education stakeholders after famous pundit Prof Lawrence Muganga unveiled a very insightful book on the impact of Artificial Intelligence on the region’s education.
Muganga who has made Victoria University a household name in just a few years he has been a Vice Chancellor, believes that in this 21st century learners must be equipped with the education of today, not of ancient and this can only be implemented if institutions of learning adopt Artificial Intelligence.
Therefore, in his book titled; “From Chalk to CHATBOTS: Discovering Authentic Education with AI,” Muganga says it “rediscovers authentic education with Al” which he says is a trusty GPS for everyone trying to navigate the crossroads where education meets Al.

Sharing the news about this mighty book, Muganga posted on his x handle that after being unveiled at the Uganda Vice Chancellors Forum Workshop in Entebbe and embraced by all his fellow educationists, it [book] will soon be launched and will be available for purchase online through various eBook outlets, and in different bookshops in Kampala.

Prof Muganga an award-winning author of the best-seller “You Can’t Make Fish Climb Trees” and “Authentic University” has been conferred as ‘change advocate’, ‘education evangelist’, ‘strategist’ and ‘enterprising’. venerated for his enviable oratory and inspiration prowess.
He blends a personal drive to make a difference in the lives of individuals and families through education and a passion for technology-powered innovation.
Also to note, Muganga is a Ugandan-born Canadian scholar who doesn’t fancy just being an academician and the leader of a higher education institution but works tirelessly to be the catalyst for that tidal effect of change needed to reach tens of millions of people who could benefit from more affordable, more-relevant, and more-flexible educational options.
