‘Marcus Rashford’ Arrested In Zimbabwe For Conniving With A Police Officer To Steal A Car

By Swift Correspondent

Ten charges of car theft are being brought against serial fraudster Ishmael Duwa Austin, who has a striking resemblance to Marcus Rashford of Manchester United.

Austin who proudly calls self Rashford reportedly conspired to conduct the crime with Since Asima, a police officer stationed at CID Headquarters, Precious Vafana, and Brian Tomudaishe Kaseke in his most recent run-in with the law.

Wishteck Motors Car Rental is the initial complainant, and it is being represented by the recruiting officer, Saunders Chiza.

According to the court record, the group planned to rob the vehicle rental firm while working together with Batsirai Mhungu, who has previously appeared in court.

They were supposed to return the car on March 3 this year but did not do so.

The gang then created a fake registration book and sold the car to Cosmo Chirombo for US$8000.

The company discovered the offence and filed a report with the police who carried out investigations leading to the arrest of the gang.

The gang led to the recovery of the vehicle.

Austin and his gang stole nine other vehicles using the same modus operandi.

They are back in court today for bail considerations.
