The territorial traffic police in Mpigi yesterday night at around 11:40 pm on 17-04-2024 registered a fatal crash in Kamengo at Kasuule Ayanguwa swamp along the Masaka-Kampala highway.
The crash involved two M/Vs UAL 605 U Mitsubishi Fuso & UBH 247L Subaru Forester.
Traffic Police spokesperson SP Kananura Michael says Fuso was from Kampala to Masaka side while at Kasuule Ayanguwa Swamp in Kamengo along Masaka-Kampala highway collided with Subaru which was from Masaka to Kampala killing instantly 03 occupants in the Subaru.
Among the victims included one other passenger who was rushed to Mpigi for medical attention, while the three bodies were conveyed to Gombe Hospital mortuary for postmortem.
