State Attorney Tusubira Sam Netted & Kicked Behind Bars For Milking Ugx43M Bribe From A Plaintiff

The State House Anti-Corruption Unit has arraigned Tusubira Sam, a State Attorney at the Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs, before the Anti-Corruption Court on 16 counts of corruption.

The accused, while representing the government in court, solicited a bribe of UGX100M from a plaintiff who had sued the Ministry of Lands and the Attorney General for irregular cancellation of his title, to assist the victim get compensated.

The Unit says by the time of his arrest, he had received about UGX43M from the victim. He has been remanded until 19th August 2024.
