The newly appointed Inspector General of Police (IGP), Abbas Byakagaba has appointed ACP Rusoke Kituuma as the new Police spokesman, replacing SCP Fred Enanga, who is now the Deputy Director for Interpol.
Kituuma, previously headed the Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) law enforcement team.
Also, Byakagaba appointed Richard Echega as the new Kampala Metropolitan Police Commander, with ACP Twishime Gerard serving as his deputy.
SSP Seguya has been appointed as RPC KMP East, while SSP Nanoka has been appointed as RPC KMP North.
Ziwede has been appointed as CP Curriculum, and SCP Steven Tanui, formerly KMP Commander, has been reassigned as Deputy Director Fire.
CP Namuwoza has been appointed as CP Fire, SPC Nanding as Commandant PSU, CP Kibwika as HRM Oil and Gas, Nyabongo ACp Mastura as Tourism, and Muheirwe as Baracks.
