A nasty road crash on the Nairobi-Garissa Highway, Kenya on Friday, July 12, claimed 10 lives.
An al-Mukaram bus headed for Nairobi from Mandera hit a trailer at a spot near the Kitumba area.
Officers from the Bangale Police Station and medics from a nearby health facility responded to the accident.

Eight people, including the crew of the ill-fated bus, died on the spot.
Two died while getting treatment at the Garissa County Referral Hospital.
According to police, the bus with 50 people on board lost control while unsuccessfully trying to overtake another vehicle, hitting the stalled area.
