Nakifuma PDM Bosses Arrested For Taking Off With Ugx19m, Replacing Saaco Members With Their Relatives

The State House Anti Corruption Unit have arraigned 3 leaders of the Nakifuma PDM SACCO in Mukono before the Grade One Magistrate’s Court Nakifuma on Charges of Conspiracy to Defraud.

These are;
1. Kibowa Ronald-Secretary
2. Nakamya Sophia-Treasurer and
3. Matovu Ben-Chairperson PDM Vetting Committee.

SH-ACU was established under Article 99(4) of the constitution of Uganda, which gives the President executive powers to either directly or indirectly perform his duties or through officers subordinate to him.

Launched on 10th December 2018, SH-ACU coordinates with all constitutionally mandated agencies to ensure a corruption-free country.

The Unit also acts as a link between H.E. the President, citizens, and anti-corruption agencies to Anti-Corruption issues.
