Kiteezi: Six More Bodies Retrieved As Death Toll Hits 30, Here Are Names Of Victims

The ongoing recovery operation has resumed in high gear yesterday, with uninterrupted efforts throughout the day. By 17:30 hours, the team successfully retrieved six more bodies, bringing the total number of bodies recovered to 30.

The identities of those recovered yesterday have been confirmed as follows:

  1. Hairati Natumanya, 20 years old
  2. Lwere Ronald (brother of Kyakanyi Raymond)
  3. Owori Moses, 3 years old
  4. Okello Richard, 31 years old
  5. Alowo Jane, 33 years old
  6. Achengi Jane, 6 years old

The Uganda Red Cross Society (URCS) continues to lead the efforts on the ground, ensuring that the operation proceeds with the utmost respect and care for the affected families.
