The honourable Woman Member of Parliament Namisindwa district (aspirant) has already bagged huge support from the boda boda operators and taxi drivers who have already declared their support for her in the forthcoming 2026 general elections.

This is backed up by the fact that hundreds of the above groups today were seen decorating their rides with Khanakwa’s stickers and others were heard chanting ‘sibya sipoto-sibya sipoto’ literally meaning the ‘unbreakable mental’ from Bupoto sub-county where Dr Khanakwa hails from.
In fact, due to high demand, the stickers Dr Khanakwa’s team had produced all were consumed and as a result of this, more is to be produced.
“As you have seen we had produced a lot of stickers, in fact we have just sampled a few compared to the number of our supporters here, but due to high demand we are adding more by the close of the day today,” said a mobilizer of Dr Khanakwa adding;
“The taxi drivers and boda bodas are saying ‘sibya sipoto’ is the big deal for Namisindwa Woman MP come 2026.”
With the already visible support, Khanakwa eyes a smooth and cool journey to 2026 that by the look of things is likely to see her scoop the victory.
In August 2023, the EC announced that the next general elections would take place on January 12 and February 9, 2026, but candidates for presidential, parliamentary and local government seats would be nominated from June to October 2025.
EC reported that over sh1.387 trillion budget has been drawn for implementing the roadmap for the next general elections, almost doubling the amount of sh698.656b spent to organize 2021.
