Breaking: Luggya Bbosa, Most Wanted & Hunted Suspect Arrested Over Murder Of Buganda’s Ndiga Clan Chief

By Frank Kamuntu

Police has confirmed the arrest of Lujja Bbosa Tabula, the main suspect in the murder of former Ndiga clan leader Engineer Daniel Bbosa.

Bbosa was shot dead by gunmen riding a motorcycle as he approached his home on the evening of February 24.

The attack, carried out by three assailants armed with an AK-47 rifle, left the 72-year-old clan leader and proprietor of TRANSA Electrical Company Limited dead at the scene. His wife and housemaid, who were with him in the vehicle, miraculously survived the attack without major injuries.

Since then, Tabula has been on the run even as five other suspects are remanded in Luzira Prison. In March, police doubled its offer, announcing a Shs20 million bounty for information leading to Tabula’s arrest over the murder of his clanmate.

According to Police, he was apprehended on 19 August 2024, in Kimelika-Namulonge, Busikuma, Wakiso district, thanks to the mighty crime intelligence squad.

Tabula is also wanted in connection with the discovery of human skulls at his residence in Mpigi.
