Funeral Program Out! Here’s When Mirundi Will Be Buried, See Other Arrangements

Joseph Tamale Mirundi, a renowned Ugandan journalist, author, and political analyst, passed away yesterday, August 13, 2024, at Kisubi Hospital.

Born in 1964 in Rakai, he made significant contributions to the media landscape, appearing on major television stations like NBS and STV, and engaging audiences through his sharp political commentary on shows like “Sharp Talk with Tamale Mirundi” on STV.

His funeral program will flow as seen below;

Wednesday, 14th August 2024 – Vigil and Mass at Zana Residence

Thursday, 15th August – Requiem Mass at St. Gyaviira Catholic Church, Bunamwaya at 10:00 am, followed by the body being taken to Zana Residence for an overnight vigil.

Friday, 16th August – Body taken to Kyengera Residence for Mass at 10:00 am and an overnight vigil.

Saturday, 17th August – Body leaves for Kalagala Village in Kaliisizo, Kyotera District for a vigil.

Sunday, 18th August – Burial ceremony starts at 10:00 am at Kalagala Village, Kaliisizo in Kyotera District.
