Workaholic manager of the mighty Office of the National Chairman (ONC)-Kyambogo, SPA/PA Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye has this afternoon met hundreds of NRM vulnerable groups’ leaders (the elderly and PWDs) at Nakivubo Blue Primary School in Kampala.
The meeting that aimed to revive the party support in Kampala, attracted other city leaders including Minister For Kampala Capital City & Metropolitan Affairs Hajjat Minsa Kabanda, Hon Sarah Kanyike the former State Minister for the Elderly and the Disabled among others.
In her remarks, Hajjat Namyalo preached wealth creation emphasizing that HE Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s wish is to see all Ugandans economically stable and independent.
“For long our President has been preaching to us to enter the money economy. Therefore use these government programmes and uplift your standards of living,” Namyalo noted cautioning further,” Kampala for long has been a hotspot of political prostitutes but this should end with 2026 elections, stop wasting your votes on people who are just pushing their selfish interests.”
Namyalo noted that in 2021, some people in Kampala wasted their support on some politicians especially from opposition but unfortunately these after scooping victories went into hiding mode leaving their electorates battling all sorts of political, social and economic challenges.
Hajjat Minsa in the same meeting praised Hajjat Namyalo for working beyond limits in boosting Museveni’s support in Kampala.
“The name Hajjat Namyalo you will find it in every corner. She is not common on TV or radios, she is ever on the ground dealing with the local bazzukulu no wonder she is populary known as Chief Muzzukulu. I want to thank HE Museveni for spotting people like Namyalo and am glad we work together with her ONC office,” noted Minister Kabanda.
The engagement ended in a jubilant mode with assortment of goodies that included maize flour, beans, cooking oil among others donated to the leaders who attended the meeting. As a boost to this, Hajjat Namyalo gave Ugx1m transport facilitation to these leaders and promised that soon she will be coming back to empower them with tools to help them create jobs and kick poverty out of their homes.
