The Ruparelia family has extended their heartfelt thanks to the people of Uganda for the overwhelming outpouring of support they received following the death and burial of Rajiv Ruparelia.
In a formal statement, the family conveyed deep gratitude for the love, compassion, and solidarity shown during what they described as one of the most difficult periods in their lives.
“We are deeply grateful for the overwhelming support, love, and compassion shown to us during the funeral proceedings,” the family said. “The presence of mourners, your kind words, prayers, and financial contributions brought us comfort beyond measure.”
Rajiv Ruparelia, a prominent businessman and philanthropist, passed away recently, prompting an outpouring of condolences and tributes from across the country. His funeral was attended by a wide cross-section of Ugandan society, including political leaders, business associates, friends, and members of the public.
The family noted that they were humbled by the unity and solidarity displayed by people from all walks of life, describing it as a testament to the lasting impact Rajiv had on countless individuals and communities.
“Thank you for standing with us,” the statement read. “Your support has reminded us of the strength of our community and the profound legacy Rajiv leaves behind.”
