“Seek Allah’s Guidance Throughout Your Union”–ONC’s Namyalo Offers Marriage Tips To Dr. Ziiwa & Haula Kasai

By Our Reporter

This evening, the Senior Presidential Advisor and Head of the Office of the National Chairman (ONC), Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo, graced the vibrant introduction and Nika ceremony of Dr. Ziiwa and his bride, Miss Haula Kasai.

The ceremony took place at the family residence of the bride’s father, prominent businessman and local investor Hajji Abdul Kasai, in Bugolobi, Kampala.

In her remarks, Hajjat Namyalo urged the newlyweds to center their marriage on Islamic principles and to seek Allah’s guidance throughout their union.

“Let Allah be the foundation of your marriage,” she advised. “Pray together, grow together, and let His guidance lead you through every season.”

She emphasized the importance of patience, mutual respect, and adherence to Islamic teachings.

“You will face tests as every couple does, but remember, these trials are part of Allah’s plan to strengthen your bond. Always turn to the Qur’an and Hadith for guidance,” she added.

Hajjat Namyalo also encouraged the guests, particularly the youth, to live by Islamic values and uphold moral discipline in their daily lives.

“As we celebrate the love and unity of this beautiful couple, let us also reflect on our personal journeys. Islamic discipline is not reserved for special occasions—it is a daily guide in how we treat each other, build families, and serve our communities,” she noted.

The ceremony was also attended by the Minister for Kampala and Metropolitan Affairs, Hajjat Minsa Kabanda, who congratulated the couple and highlighted the importance of building families rooted in faith and values.

“A marriage grounded in Islamic principles lays the foundation for a peaceful and progressive community. I encourage you to live by example and inspire other young couples to embrace love, responsibility, and spiritual growth,” she said.

Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Executive Director, Hajjat Sharif Buzeki, commended both families for organizing such a dignified and spiritually meaningful celebration.

“This union reflects the true essence of Islamic culture and tradition. As KCCA, we support family-centered events that strengthen the moral fabric of our city. I wish the couple a blessed and fruitful marriage.”

The bride’s father, Hajji Abdul Kasai, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all who honored the invitation, including Kampala’s leading businessmen who attended in large numbers. He spoke fondly of his daughter’s character and upbringing.

“Haula has always been disciplined, respectful, and God-fearing. Today, as I give her hand in marriage, I am confident she will uphold the values we instilled in her and bring honor to her new family,” he said.
