This historic accreditation empowers the university to offer the Bachelor of Laws (LLB) program and solidifies its place among Uganda’s premier institutions for legal education.
The approval follows a rigorous inspection process by the Law Council’s Committee on Legal Education and Training, which confirmed that Victoria University meets all the professional and academic standards required to run a law program. This success comes after the earlier green light from the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE), which mid-last year accredited the university’s LLB program.
