Dr. Khanakwa, who has spent over two decades serving the people in both public health and community empowerment sectors, says her decision to stand as an independent is rooted in the urgent need to reclaim leadership that is people-driven, non-partisan, and honest.
“Namisindwa deserves leadership that listens, acts, and uplifts. I am not standing against anyone — I am standing for the people,” she said during her declaration rally at her home in Namabya Sub county.
