The Office of the National Chairman Manager, SPA Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye, has this afternoon presided over a mega empowerment outreach at Kiboga Saza Grounds in Kiboga Town Council, Kiboga District.

In her address, Namyalo thanked the people of Kiboga for supporting President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and for standing behind all NRM candidates. She urged voters to massively vote for all NRM flag bearers across the district, stressing that it is only the flag bearers that President Museveni knows and is willing to work with.

“Our dear voters, we thank you for supporting Hon. Muhooza and President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni. Now that she has received the NRM flag, we fully stand behind her and kindly urge all of you to vote for all NRM flag bearers, because President Museveni recognizes only NRM flag bearers, and service delivery flows through them,” she appealed.

She made it clear that there is no way President Museveni can win the 2026 elections without support from the grassroots and emphasized that such support must start with loyalty to NRM leaders at the local level.

“There is no way President Museveni can win 2026 without you, the people at the grassroots. Your strength, unity, and commitment will determine our victory,” she said.

Namyalo hailed Hon. Desire Muhooza for standing shoulder to shoulder with the Office of the National Chairman to ensure that the people of Kiboga are empowered.

“Desire has shown exceptional commitment to uplifting her community, which is why ONC partnered with her for this event. Over the years, President Museveni, through ONC, has empowered millions of Ugandans and will continue these efforts until poverty is eradicated,” Namyalo said.

Addressing the crowd, Hon. Desire urged residents to move away from dirty politics and embrace development and wealth creation, noting that a country can only develop with empowered citizens.

She lauded SPA Namyalo for prioritizing Kiboga and thanked voters for supporting her vision of socio-economic transformation.

She also appealed to residents to vote for all NRM-leaning candidates and to desist from voting for independents, explaining that NRM lost in previous elections because of divided votes caused by NRM-leaning independents.

“Our votes were divided in the past elections, that’s why we lost to the opposition. I appeal to you to remain united behind NRM candidates,” she said.

Hon. Muhooza further urged residents to vote for President Museveni in the upcoming presidential election and assured the gathering that while the President wants 80 percent of the vote from Kiboga, local leaders are ready to ensure he receives 90 percent.

“The President wants 80%, but as leaders we are ready to fight hard so that Kiboga delivers 90%,” she declared.

Mr. Yiga Israel, the Publicity Secretary of the NRM Mainstream in Kiboga District, commended SPA Namyalo for spearheading empowerment initiatives and delivering tangible support to the people of Kiboga.

He thanked Hon. Desire for her tireless work, noting that the landslide victory she secured as the NRM flag bearer in Kiboga had already yielded positive results. Yiga called upon all residents to rally behind President Museveni in the 2026 elections.

The Kiboga Resident District Commissioner (RDC) and head of security in the district, Mr. Ssempala Kigozi, applauded Hajjat Namyalo for delivering the empowerment package.

He further hailed President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for his steadfast leadership in maintaining peace and security across the country, which has enabled socio-economic development to thrive.

Mr. Kigozi rallied residents to continue supporting the President and to massively vote for him and all NRM flag bearers in the forthcoming elections.

Among the notable guests at the event was Hon. Mbabazi Harriet, the NRM flag bearer for Mpigi District Woman MP, who expressed gratitude to Kiboga residents for voting Hon. Muhooza.

She praised Muhooza as a fearless and transformative leader capable of steering Kiboga to greater heights.

Also in attendance was Hon. Easter Ndyanabo, former Mayor of Mityana and the current NRM flag bearer for Mityana Municipality, who urged voters to rally behind Hon. Muhooza.

He cautioned against supporting NRM-leaning independents, stressing that such divisions cost the party dearly in Buganda during the 2021 elections.

The Senior RDC and veteran NRM cadre, Mr. Kizoto Nkubwa, currently serving as the RDC of Kapchorwa and a resident of Kiboga echoed the call, urging voters to support both Hon. Muhooza and President Museveni.

He emphasized that their leadership embodies continuity, stability, and transformation.

The event concluded with SPA Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo presiding over the distribution of empowerment tools, including spraying machines, hair dryers, bricklaying equipment, among others, aimed at improving livelihoods and fostering self-reliance in the district.
