The First Family is in a celebratory mood as President Yoweri Museveni’s granddaughter, Nsasiirwe Keinembabazi Karugire — affectionately known as Tasha or Sasii — prepares to tie the knot.

Tasha is the daughter of Edwin Karugire and Natasha Museveni, the President’s daughter. News of her engagement first surfaced in July, though the family kept most details private at the time.

It has since been reported that Tasha’s fiancé is the son of Lt. Gen. Sam Kavuma, the Commander of the African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS), marking the union of two prominent Ugandan families.
