Jeans are outfits worn by both men and women, below are some mistakes many ladies make when wearing them:
1. Narrow boots.
As a fashionable lady, when tucking skinny jeans or leggings into your boots, the most important thing to remember is that loose versions might create unflattering wrinkles on the knees. Another thing is that you should always opt for boots with a slightly folded, wide bootleg.
2. Mid-waist jeans pulled over to the waist.
It is with no doubt that high-rise jeans have been trendy for many years, as it always look stylish and also comfortable to wear. However, when you are wearing it, ensure that you don’t pull them up to your navel and tighten them with a belt for a better fit.
3. Flared jeans in the wrong length.
You should always remember that the perfect length of flared jeans is 0.5 inches above the floor; trousers that have shorter legs can make your legs appear larger. On the other hand, long trousers will drag over the floor, become dirty and appear unpresentable.
4. Skinny jeans without the belt.
While some may claim that skinny jeans are no longer fashionable, do not rush to hide them deep in the shelf of your closet. Even though skinnies are not as popular as they were 5 years ago, they can still be worn, especially if you wear a belt to draw attention to your waist.
5. Unbecoming back pockets.
Most people don’t know that the location and shape of back pockets can change the body shape beyond recognition. As a result, the wide-set pocket will visually widen the hips.
Pockets that are tightly sewn, on the other hand, will lengthen the legs and make the body appear broader.
6. Jeans that are too big.
When buying jeans, we are usually left to choose between two sizes. But experienced fashionistas suggest that it’s by far better to buy smaller ones because the fabric gets stretched out during wear. And jeans in a bigger size will hang and bulge at the waist.
7. Double denim in one Colour
Denim shirts and jackets can now be worn with jeans since total denim outfits are back in style. It is not necessary to choose the top and bottom parts based on their colour. Different hues, on the other hand, will create a contrast and make you look livelier and more complicated.
8. Unkept cuffs
When cuffs are unkept, it usually means they are wrinkled, creased, or not properly folded or adjusted.
