Speaker Among Urges African Parliamentarians To Address Global Challenges & Colonial Legacies

In a compelling address delivered today at the ongoing 86th Executive Committee Meeting of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (Africa Region), Speaker Among underscored the enduring impact of global challenges and historical colonial distortions on the African continent.

Speaking at the Protea Hotel in Entebbe, Uganda, the Speaker Among captivated African parliamentarians with her impassioned plea for collective action to combat division, exploitation, marginalization, and abuse in Africa.

Amidst a backdrop of socio-economic disparities and geopolitical complexities, Speaker Among articulated the pressing need for African nations to harness their collective numerical strength to advance shared values and aspirations. She emphasized that unity and solidarity among African nations are indispensable in confronting the multifaceted challenges facing the continent.
