Finally! Don World’s Security Guard Who Killed City Businessman Arrested In Kanungu

Police in Kanungu District have arrested a 28-year-old private security guard accused of murdering businessman Anthony Mutinisa, the proprietor of Mutinisa Motors Uganda.

The suspect, Hilary Byaruhanga, a guard attached to Don World Security Limited, is alleged to have shot and killed his employer, 53-year-old Mutinisa, on Sunday evening before fleeing with cash and the victim’s luxury SUV, registration number UA 769 BQ.

According to police spokesperson Rusoke Kituuma, Byaruhanga went into hiding immediately after the shooting but was tracked down and arrested on Monday evening in Kanungu. Police also recovered the stolen vehicle abandoned in Katwe Cell, Kihihi Town Council.

“The suspect allegedly shot Mutinisa in cold blood on Sunday evening and fled with the victim’s car, which has since been recovered,” Rusoke told journalists.

Police further revealed that Byaruhanga was arrested alongside an alleged accomplice, Akampa Mark, who is also in custody to assist with investigations.
