Uganda’s wealthiest business magnate Sudhir Ruparelia has joined masses of Ugandans and other businessmen who graced the launch of a Sports Complex built by the Speaker of Parliament Anita Among in Bukedea district.

Other tycoons that were seen chilling with Sudhir at this launch included Godfrey Kirumira and Hamis Kiggundu.

Speaker’s complex has today been officially inaugurated by President Yoweri Museveni and is to host the Federation of East Africa Secondary School Association FEASSA Games that will run until 27 August.

The Stadium has a football field, a running track and artificial turf and an Indoor Arena and also has an annexe with a swimming pool and a basketball court.

“The people of Bukedea or Teso sub-region will conduct business and make money during these games. It’s my plea that the community should always observe discipline for visitors, as they look at making business in 10 days,” said Speaker Among.

This is the first time the Teso sub-region is hosting such a championship, with over 3,000 students from five countries; Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and Burundi already at the stadium.
