In the wake of a tragic incident in Kenya where over 100 people perished after a pastor ordered them to fast until death, Kenyan authorities are taking decisive action against certain religious groups.
One individual who recently attracted attention is Ronald Wanyama, who claims to be a reincarnation of John the Baptist from biblical times. Authorities summoned Wanyama to shed light on the operations of his church, particularly due to his use of a self-authored Bible containing an astonishing 93 books.
According to Wanyama, he was born in Egypt and spent 230 years in Israel, before returning to his heavenly creator.
He asserts that he paved the way for Jesus and consecrated him for his divine work when he was 203 years old. Wanyama also claims that God sent him back to Earth on February 15, 1941, with the mission of completing Jesus’ work and bringing enlightenment to Africa.
Making bold claims about his healing abilities, Wanyama asserts that he can cure various ailments, including HIV and AIDS, cancer, and witchcraft, and even claims to possess the power to ensure political victories for politicians.
Allegedly following a divine command, Wanyama has taken multiple wives, currently totaling 46, with a staggering 289 children, as reported by local media in Kenya.
