Following public reactions to Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s public statements especially on security, social, diplomatic, economic and politics, the public keeps in a state of quagmire failing to judge in which capacity Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba makes such statements.
The most recent was a statement posted on his official X page that was demanding an apology from America’s Ambassador in Uganda.
“The Ambassador of America in Uganda must apologize to HE Museveni or leave our country by Monday,” Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba posted on his X page while accusing the ambassador for disrespecting Ugandan Government and the President, H.E Museveni Kaguta. These statements have since been deleted.
The statement seemed to threaten the diplomatic relations between Uganda and America, however was a timely patriotic message to prove the readiness of Ugandans to protect our motherland from neocolonialism.
The Four Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba not Interpreted Well By the Public.
1. Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba, The CDF of UPDF.
As the commander of Ugandan Army, Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba has the mandate to command, direct and guide the forces on any forms of threat to Uganda.
That’s why on several occasions, he is meeting different military delegations from different countries in order to strengthen military cooperation between UPDF and other armies.
As a CDF, he does every role in-line with the military act and Ugandan constitution.
2. Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba, The SPA/SO.
As a senior Presidential Adviser on Special Operations, Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba has the moral authority of ensuring, all special operations go on successful.
The special operations may be political, social, security or economic.
This is the role that gave him mandate to talk about America’s Ambassador in Uganda.
3. Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba, The Chairman of PLU.
As a leader of the Patriotic League of Uganda-PLU a non partisan Civic Organization, Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba has a mandate of engaging Ugandans in Civil activities.
The reason he has been moving around the country imploring youths to embrace government programs and fight poverty.
4. Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba, The Son of President Museveni.
Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba, The Son of Mzee Museveni is a great son of the revolution and therefore has to fight to ensure continuity of the revolutionary agenda.
That’s why he stands boldly to warn those who try to threaten the revolutionary government.
