The journey to the 2025 AFCON in Morocco is heating up, with several teams already securing their spots for next year’s prestigious tournament.
As the qualifying matches progress, Matchday three and four came with sizzling encounters as teams from 12 groups battle fiercely for a chance to compete on the continental stage.
Already, seven teams have guaranteed their place in the tournament and they include: Senegal, DR Congo, Algeria, Cameroon, Burkina Faso, Egypt and Angola.
The last two rounds of qualifiers will take place next month, with more teams looking to join the already-qualified nations.
Meanwhile, the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations will kick off on 21 December next year, culminating in a grand finale on 18 January 2026.
