Next Season Come Organized: Manchester City Kicks ‘Red Devils’ Out Of Man United To Win FA Cup

By Frank Kamuntu

Manchester City have beaten Manchester United to win the FA Cup final at Wembley and to secure a league and FA Cup double.

The game got off to the most spectacular staff when Ilkay Gundogan produced an outrageous volley from 20 yards to put Pep Guardiola’s team in front after just 13 seconds.

City continued to press but found themselves pegged back when Jack Grealish was adjudged to have handballed in the box, allowing Bruno Fernandes to equalise from the penalty spot in the 33rd minute.

Gundogan was on hand again to volley home Kevin De Bruyne’s corner with his left foot to help City re-take the lead six minutes after the interval when perhaps David De Gea should have done better with the effort from the edge of the box.

The German international thought he had scored a hattrick as the game opened up but was offside when he struck home a rebound after a good reflex save from De Gea.

Erik ten Hag rang the changes to try and get his team back into the game but they were unable to break down the City rearguard.

Guardiola and his team now have the chance to make it a historic treble when they face Inter Milan in Istanbul in the UEFA Champions League final in a week’s time.
