Hon. Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda’s father, Haji Ali Nkwanga Nganda has died early this morning after a short illness.
According to Harold Kaija, one of Ssemujju’s friends, the burial of the senior citizen is scheduled to take place tomorrow, Saturday at the family’s ancestral home in Bijaaba, Kyazanga, Lwengo District.
Many politicians have since eulogized the fallen Hajj Ali Nganda including Speaker of Parliament Anita Among.
Through her X handle, Among has expressed her and the whole house’s (parliament) heartfelt condolences to ‘brother ‘ Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda and the entire bereaved family for the loss of such a strong family pillar.
Among wished Hajji Ali Nganda an eternity and rest and praying for Allah’s love and comfort upon the bereaved family during this trying moment.
“On behalf of the Parliament of Uganda and myself, I extend my heartfelt condolences to my brother, Honourable Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda, and the entire Nganda family on the passing of their patriarch, Hajj Ali Nganda. May the love of Allah and the prayers of the faithful provide you with comfort during this difficult time”, she wrote on her official X handle.
