Panic: Another Mysterious Object Falls From The Sky In Kenya

By Frank Kamuntu

Kenya is yet again facing the mystery of an Unidentified Flying Object (UFO) penetrating its airspace. On Thursday night, at around 11 PM, residents in North Eastern Kenya observed and took videos of a streak of glowing objects hovering in the sky.

The objects are reported to have eventually crashed in Moyale, a town on the Kenya-Ethiopia border. The landing generated a significant impact and a noticeable burning odour.

There has been no official communication on the matter from the Kenya Space Agency (KSA) or any other authority. Witnesses in the location suspect what hit the ground was space debris, while others suspect it could be a crash. The country will be keenly waiting for official confirmation from relevant authorities.

This incident comes 11 days after another suspicious ring was found in Makueni County, Kenya. KSA released a statement claiming the fallen object is a separation ring from a launch vehicle (rocket). The agency removed the ring from the site and moved it to Nairobi for further investigation. A resident claims the 500kg metal ring that crashed in Mukuku village damaged her home.

According to the European Space Agency (ESA), Earth’s orbit currently contains over 170 million pieces of space debris exceeding 1 mm in size. 670,000 of these pieces are larger than 1 cm, and 29,000 are larger than 10 cm. This junk is mostly broken satellites or discarded parts of rockets.
