The latest news landing on our political desk indicates that National Unity Platform (NUP) candidate Counsel Elias Nalukoola has won the Kawempe North by election, defeating heavily National Resistance Movement (NRM) candidate Faridah Nambi and nine others.
Mr. Makabayi Henry, the returning officer, Kampala district declared that Luyimbazi had a total of 17,764 votes followed by Nambi Faridah who gathered 8593 votes.
