UPDATE: Death Toll Of Kasese ADF Attack Shoots To 41 As Bomb Kills 17, Janet Museveni, Gen Mbadi & Muhanga Rush To Assess Situation

The latest landing on our desk indicates that the death toll of the ADF attack in Kasese currently stands at 41.

It’s reported that in this attack, the rebels hacked 22 students were hacked to death bombed 17 other students using a bomb plus 2 residents.

Swift Daily News has since learnt that Minister of Education and Sports Janet Museveni has rushed to Kasese to assess the situation.

Meanwhile, the Commander of the Defence Forces (CDF) Gen Wilson Mbadi and the Commander of Land Forces Lt Gen Kayanja Muhanga have also followed Janet.

The UPDF has said a serious pursuit of the enemy has commenced, with helicopters set to be deployed with aim to bring the escaping rebels to a halt.
