In her manifesto, Hon. Generous outlines a comprehensive agenda focused on key development priorities: improving access to quality education, empowering women and girls, eradicating poverty, advancing human rights, enhancing agricultural productivity, ensuring clean and safe water supply, and promoting youth empowerment. She is particularly alarmed by the high dropout rate in Lyatonde’s primary schools—only about 37% of pupils complete their education—an issue she is determined to tackle head-on.
Her commitment to community health is already evident. She spearheaded the renovation of Buyaga Health Centre II, restoring dignity to a facility that had fallen into disrepair. Additionally, she has taken a strong stance on human rights, most recently supporting a family who lost a child to electrocution. Her intervention led to successful legal action and a compensation payout of UGX 27 million to the grieving family.
