Thousands have today woken up at the Buganda Road Primary School playground for the official launch of TONTA NRM United Voice, a fast-growing mobilisation outfit that has been rallying nationwide support for President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni over the past two years.

The group which operates from its offices in Rubaga and commands a network of over 100 district coordinators has been credited for its consistent grassroots work in spreading the NRM message and strengthening the President’s support among the youth. The launch, however, placed the spotlight on its strong partnership with the Office of the National Chairman (ONC), headed by SPA Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye.

The event was graced by the Minister for Kampala, Hajjat Minsa Kabanda, as Guest of Honour, alongside Hajjat Namyalo who served as Chief Guest. Both leaders received warm applause for their shared commitment to mobilisation and empowerment initiatives backed by the NRM.

TONTA CEO, Mr. Nabasa Alex popularly known as “The Don” hailed Namyalo’s outstanding leadership, describing her as the “true chief muzzukulu” who has consistently empowered young people and revitalised political mobilisation across the country. He said TONTA was stepping forward to reinforce the mobilisation momentum Namyalo has built over the years, praising her as a tireless force injecting renewed enthusiasm into President Museveni’s outreach among the bazzukulu.

TONTA National Coordinator Byamugisha Emma echoed the appreciation, noting that even securing the playground venue was made possible through Namyalo’s goodwill. He described her as a dependable, motherly leader who always stands with genuine mobilisers working in good faith for the President.

In her address, Hajjat Namyalo expressed heartfelt gratitude to Minister Kabanda for her friendship and strong support toward ONC’s empowerment programmes. She emphasised unity, discipline and collaboration within the NRM, noting that the party’s strength lies in leaders and mobilisers working together not in internal rivalry.

Namyalo reaffirmed ONC’s readiness to partner with TONTA and all groups committed to advancing President Museveni’s leadership. She acknowledged the challenges that come with mobilising in Kampala but expressed confidence that through focused teamwork, overwhelming support for the President will be secured.

She encouraged TONTA members to remain disciplined, avoid unnecessary conflicts, and stay committed to their core mission: securing President Museveni’s victory. She also thanked Buganda Road Primary School her former school for generously hosting the event, calling it a meaningful homecoming.

In her rallying message, Namyalo urged the bazzukulu and all Ugandans to continue standing firmly behind President Museveni, describing him as a visionary, dependable and irreplaceable leader whose decades of service have shaped Uganda’s progress.

With ONC’s blessing and TONTA’s renewed momentum, the group is now set to intensify mobilisation countrywide, amplifying Namyalo’s mission to empower the youth and strengthen support for President Museveni.
