Divine Alliance: Pastor Bugembe Meets Hajjat Namyalo As ONC Throws Weight Behind His 20-Year Gospel Concert

By Frank Kamuntu

In a powerful show of unity between faith, talent, and leadership, the Manager of the Office of the NRM National Chairman (ONC), Senior Presidential Advisor (SPA) Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye, earlier today hosted celebrated gospel star and pastor, Wilson Bugembe, at her Kyambogo-based office.

The visit, charged with spiritual energy and national pride, spotlighted ONC’s unwavering commitment to youth empowerment, talent promotion, and the nurturing of inspirational Ugandan icons.

Pastor Bugembe, whose soul-stirring music has captivated hearts across Uganda and beyond, paid the courtesy call ahead of his blockbuster anniversary concert slated for August 8, 2025, marking 20 glorious years in the gospel music ministry.

During the high-spirited interaction, Hajjat Namyalo lauded Bugembe as a living embodiment of the success that sprouts from President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s peace-building legacy and visionary governance.

“As ONC, we proudly support talents that uplift, inspire, and empower society—especially our Bazzukulu,” Hajjat Namyalo declared. “Pastor Bugembe is a product of the peaceful and enabling environment our Jajja, H.E. Museveni, has tirelessly built. His journey reflects what’s possible under the NRM.”

She pledged ONC’s full backing for Bugembe’s landmark concert and encouraged young Ugandans to emulate his discipline, consistency, and purpose-driven passion. With her signature humor that often disarms and delights, she joked:

“We’ll support your show—and hopefully meet your missing rib that day!”

In a lighter moment, Bugembe—who, according to close aides, “sleeps like Pope Leo XIV” in his calm demeanor—thanked Hajjat Namyalo for her warm hospitality and unwavering support for local creatives.

“This is my second time meeting Hajjat Hadijah—the first was at the Dr Bbosa book launch. Her words then struck me deeply. She has a rare style, one that embraces everyone, regardless of religion or tribe,” Bugembe shared.

He concluded the meeting with a heartfelt prayer, asking God to bless and protect Hajjat Namyalo as she steers ONC’s efforts to transform lives.

In a symbolic gesture of support, ONC has already purchased tickets worth three VVIP tables for the concert—solidifying their commitment to both talent and faith-based inspiration.

With thousands expected to attend, Pastor Bugembe’s upcoming concert promises to be a spectacular celebration of music, ministry, and a message of hope—all under the banner of national unity and empowerment.
